Internal Combustion Engine Application

Step 1

Piston and cylinder surfaces appear smooth to the naked eye. When examined under a microscope, the uneven nature of the surfaces emerge, revealing a random series of "hills and valleys".

Step 2

Fusion-Tech nano-compounds are applied to the cylinders. The nano-particles are forced into the "valleys" under extreme velocity, heat, and pressure as the piston passes through the cylinder.

Step 3

As the nano-particles bond with the steel in the cylinder, the surface hardness increases (HV700) and becomes nearly friction-free (0.05). This process protects the cylinder against wear, extending the service life of the engine.

Step 4

Once impregnated with the nano-compounds, the engine runs more smoothly with greater energy and velocity.
